Overview

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly organized and experienced Virtualization Engineer – End User Technology to join our End User Technology team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient delivery of IT services to end-users.

In Short

• Lead the EUT operations team, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
• Oversee deployment and maintenance of end-user technology devices.
• Ensure timely resolution of hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate with teams to develop EUT strategies and procedures.
• Monitor and optimize EUT infrastructure performance.
• Implement security protocols and compliance standards.
• Maintain documentation for EUT configurations and processes.
• Conduct assessments and audits of EUT environments.
• Provide excellent customer service to end-users.
• Must be a US citizen.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in end-user computing support.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with MDM solutions like Microsoft Intune.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Citrix.
• Relevant certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation tasks.
• Understanding of network fundamentals.
