Software QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.

In Short

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify and report software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Utilize test automation tools to create and maintain automated test suites for improved efficiency.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and provide detailed bug reports using tracking tools.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes to enhance overall product quality.
• Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices in software testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience automating test plans using Python.
• Experience in setup or configuration of datacenter hardware such as Blade Servers, Rack Servers, Fabric Interconnect, Chassis, Adaptors, Storage Controller, Ethernet switch or FC switch.
• Experience working in Linux Operating System and working with VMWare Hypervisor.
