Overview

The Product Owner will play a crucial role in executing the product strategy within the financial technology sector, collaborating closely with the Chief Product Officer and ensuring the development team effectively translates the product roadmap into actionable tasks.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and create user stories.
• Support the CPO in developing and refining the product roadmap.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews.
• Serve as the primary contact between development teams and stakeholders.
• Apply banking and Islamic finance knowledge to ensure compliance and relevance.
• Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and validate features.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Product Owner in FinTech or financial services.
• In-depth understanding of banking products and processes.
• Fluency in Arabic preferred, professional proficiency in English required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of core banking products.
• Experience with Islamic finance principles.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian banking sector.
• Technical understanding of software development lifecycle.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
