Finance Data Analyst - Fully Remote within Europe

In Short

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports for P&L, revenue, costs, and liquidity.
• Model and analyze financial data in SQL and Excel.
• Support forecasts, budget tracking, variance analysis, and scenario analyses.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses for Finance (e.g., transactions, pay rates, provisions, VAT, cash flow).
• Act as a point of contact for all data-driven financial questions.
• Ensure a consistent and traceable financial KPI logic in the BI system.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, FP&A, or finance-related BI roles.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
• Deep understanding of P&L, HGB, cost accounting, and liquidity planning.
• Ability to translate financial data into structured, actionable information.
• Independent, structured working style with a high affinity for numbers.
• Fluent German for accounting and finance topics.
• Good English for daily team communication.
