This position offers hands-on involvement in the production process, coordinating between in-house teams and external vendors to bring impactful resources to life. In Short

• Coordinate various production phases of outsourced publishing projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Serve as the internal point of contact for colleagues in editorial, design, marketing, and permissions, and work closely with external vendor partners.
• Prepare clear project materials, manage art, photo, and video content, and assist with photo/video shoots.
• Ensure all project files and deliverables are correctly stored and accessible within internal systems.
• Review vendor deliverables at key milestones, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to accessibility and style guidelines.
• Conduct basic proofreading for artwork, covers, and other project elements, ensuring consistency with house and Chicago Manual of Style standards.
• Track and input data for permissions, design elements, and scheduling in internal databases and spreadsheets.
• Support synchronization of print books and ancillary materials by coordinating release timelines across departments.
• Suggest process improvements to increase editorial and vendor efficiency and assist other teams during lighter workloads.
