Stationary Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Stationary Engineer will ensure that all utility systems function correctly and perform preventative maintenance while adhering to GMP standards.

• Ensure proper functioning of utility systems including boilers and chillers.
• Respond to mechanical and electrical problems.
• Document issues and communicate through electronic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain GMP training qualifications.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Familiarity with automated control systems and PLCs.
• Lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
• 3+ years of maintenance or operations experience required.
• High School Graduate with relevant certifications preferred.

Requirements

• Must join Local 39 Stationary Engineers Union.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with building/system control systems.
• Knowledge of air compressors and water purification equipment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in standard computer applications.
• Ability to work with hazardous materials and chemicals.
• Willingness to work alternative shifts and overtime.
• Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in HVAC, boilers, or wastewater preferred.
