Specialist, Engineering Services - Remote

Overview

The Specialist in Engineering Services at JLL will install, service, and repair Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems while collaborating with Data Center Operating Engineers. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and the ability to handle various tasks in a data center environment.

In Short

• Install, service, and repair MEP systems.
• Work alongside Data Center Operating Engineers.
• Perform general handyman duties and housekeeping.
• Conduct inspections of grounds and roofs.
• Respond to emergencies outside normal work hours.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Use mobile devices and computer systems effectively.
• Self-motivated and able to work alone or in teams.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Requirements

• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.
• Electrical or mechanical background/experience desired.
• Data Center knowledge/experience is a plus.
• Basic handyman skills and knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to walk, stand, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to detect emergency alarms.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round.
• Good reading, writing, and mathematics skills.
