Mechatronics & Robotics Technician - Remote

Overview

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, with opportunities for skill development and mentoring junior technicians.

• Support Operations Maintenance team in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
• Mentor junior technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Knowledge of robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
