Mechatronics & Robotics Technician - Remote

Overview

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, while also mentoring junior technicians.

In Short

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Possible travel up to 20%.

• Work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Mentor junior technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience in preventative maintenance procedures.
• Associates degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to work in various conditions including small spaces and uneven surfaces.
