Mech & Robotics Technician - Remote

Overview

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician at JLL, you will support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, while also mentoring junior technicians.

In Short

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Lift up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Possible travel up to 20% at a minimum.
• Opportunity to mentor junior technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• Knowledge of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with MHE safety standards.
• Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
