Mechatronics & Robotics Technician - Remote

Overview

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician at C&W Services, you will support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

In Short

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with detailed data.
• Mentor junior technicians to support their growth.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems.
• Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing and lifting.
