Overview

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician plays a vital role in supporting the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

• Support the Operations Maintenance Team with repairs and maintenance.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Create and manage work orders documenting labor hours and parts used.
• Mentor junior technicians in their roles.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.
• Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
• Regularly required to type on a computer for 1-2 hours per day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems.
• Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
