Maintenance Technician - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities while assisting engineering teams in maintenance and repair efforts.

In Short

• Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
• Perform general interior maintenance including painting and minor plumbing repairs.
• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
• Conduct property inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Comply with all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Participate in ongoing technical and operational training programs.
• Move office furniture and equipment as requested.
• Recognize safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
• Complete tasks related to tenant services requests.
• Maintain compliance with state, county, or city ordinances.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of related work experience in maintenance or repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Trade school or college education is desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
