Grants Associate, Mount Zion Health Fund (Part-Time) - Remote

Overview

The Grants Associate works on various aspects of grants processing/systems and provides administrative support to the Executive Director, Mount Zion Health Fund. This role is mostly remote with the requirement of occasional off-site or office presence required (2-4 days a month).

In Short

• Part-time position, 20 hours a week.
• Process grants recommendations within a Salesforce-based grants management system.
• Manage Board activities such as onboarding and scheduling.
• Coordinate logistics for quarterly board meetings.
• Create newsletter and video content for the community.
• Communicate with accounting teams and grantees regarding grant requests.
• Assist with statement delivery and communication processes.
• Support grant recipients with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Requires occasional office presence (2-4 days a month).

Requirements

• Experience in grants management or philanthropic operations preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Demonstrated integrity within the work environment.
• Ability to work with a diverse cross-section of individuals.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years of direct service experience in complex environments.
• Some knowledge of marketing software like Canva is desired.
