Billing Associate (Part-time) - Remote

Curai Health is on a mission to make high-quality healthcare accessible to all by building a virtual-first primary care service. We are looking for a skilled Biller/Coder to join our remote team and optimize revenue cycle management for our telehealth services.

In Short

• Part-time role (20 hours per week)
• Accurate medical coding and claims submission
• Collaboration with healthcare providers and insurance companies
• Conduct audits for compliance with coding regulations
• Develop and maintain billing and coding policies
• Train staff on coding and billing best practices
• Analyze and address insurance denials
• Post and reconcile insurance and patient payments
• Identify process improvements for post-claims workflows

Requirements

• CPC certification or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in medical coding and billing
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding systems
• Experience in telehealth regulations and reimbursement policies
• Proficiency in coding software and electronic health records
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills
