Proposal Engineer - Aircraft Interiors - Remote

Overview

The Proposal Engineer for Aircraft Interiors at Boeing will develop modification proposals for customer aircraft interiors and collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project execution.

In Short

• Develop customer aircraft modification proposals.
• Interface with Engineering, Purchasing, and Sales teams.
• Manage workload priorities and meet deadlines.
• Research and develop modification statements of work.
• Identify key risks and mitigation strategies.
• Support tracking of active RFPs.
• Participate in handover meetings to Program Management.
• Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of aviation/aerospace industry experience.
• Knowledge of EASA CS25 requirements for aircraft interiors.
• Experience in an EASA Part 21J design organization is beneficial.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to listen to colleagues' suggestions.
• A recognized aeronautical or engineering degree.
• Experience with CAD is desirable but not essential.
