Contract Instructional Designer - Remote

Overview

We're seeking a contract Instructional Designer to develop and manage engaging learning experiences for engineering leaders and teams using Jellyfish.

In Short

• Develop comprehensive learning modules for Jellyfish Academy
• Create diverse learning materials, including online courses, videos, and one-pagers
• Update existing course content to reflect recent product changes
• Utilize e-learning authoring tools to create and publish course content
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand platform capabilities
• Design learning content that supports customer onboarding
• Part-time position (~20 hrs/week)
• Estimated project duration: 3 months
• Remote work
• 3-5 comprehensive online learning modules as deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Proven experience in customer education and instructional design
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles
• Excellent communication and content creation skills
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus
