Overview

As an Animator on RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you will create high-quality animations that enhance gameplay and support narrative storytelling in an open-world survival crafting game.

In Short

• Create and implement benchmark-quality in-game animations using motion data and hand key techniques.
• Collaborate with Tech Art and Engineering to maintain animation pipelines.
• Prototype, iterate, and R&D animation features that support gameplay.
• Contribute to motion capture planning and execution.
• Communicate with departments to ensure animations meet requirements.
• Develop reusable animation systems for efficiency.
• Support external partners with feedback and guidance.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing professional and personal animation work.
• Understanding of animation principles and pipelines.
• Experience animating a variety of characters and creatures.
• Ability to create animations that enhance gameplay.
• Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine.
• Strong storytelling sensibilities and visual communication talent.
• Experience in the games industry in an animation capacity.
