Overview

The Senior Forensic Engineer will join J.S. Held’s Accident Reconstruction practice, focusing on accident reconstruction and expert witness testimony while developing business opportunities and mentoring junior engineers.

In Short

• Manage accident reconstruction projects and clients.
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
• Conduct unbiased field investigations and testing of incidents.
• Provide technical findings and analysis in laymen’s terms.
• Travel for inspections, field work, and business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of post-academic engineering experience preferred.
• ACTAR certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing teams preferred.
• Ability to adapt to new environments quickly.
• Willingness to obtain additional licensure and certification.
• Ability to work remotely or while traveling.
