Director of Engineering – Travel Tech - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an exceptional Director of Engineering to lead and scale the next generation of B2B and B2C travel tech platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive architecture, innovation, and engineering excellence.

In Short

• Define and implement the technical roadmap.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance engineering team.
• Architect, develop, and optimize booking engines, CRM systems, and eCommerce platforms.
• Overhaul legacy systems and drive the transition to modern architectures.

• Ensure high availability, fast API performance, and system stability.
• Oversee PCI compliance and secure API development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering & architecture.
• Strong background in travel technology.
• Expertise in Laravel (PHP), React (Next.js), AWS.
• Experience leading engineering teams and hiring developers.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and microservices.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps tools.
