Hybrid IT System Engineer (Cloud) - Remote

In Short

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions (Microsoft Azure, AWS and / or Google Cloud)
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform
• Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost efficiency
• Working in our ITSM (ticket system) to help our employees (2nd Level Service).
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes using scripting (PowerShell, Python)
• Ensure cloud security best practices, compliance, and governance
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues to maintain system reliability
• Collaborate with development, security, and IT teams to support cloud-native applications
• Document cloud infrastructure, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Completed studies in IT, Computer Science or relevant experience in the field of IT
• Proven experience as an IT System Engineer with expertise in cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (certifications are a plus)
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English is a must
