Senior Linux System Engineer - Remote

Overview

In this role, you are responsible for the operation, further development, and automation of the Linux-based system landscapes of our client. You implement and maintain complex server infrastructures with a focus on RedHat and Ubuntu, both on-premises and in cloud environments. You utilize automation and configuration management tools, optimize existing systems, and ensure their security, availability, and performance. You support troubleshooting in 2nd/3rd level support and actively participate in infrastructure projects as well as the documentation of system architectures.

• Solid knowledge in the operation and automation of Linux server environments
• Experience in automating operating system installations and configurations in heterogeneous infrastructures

• Knowledge in building backup infrastructures and developing data backup concepts
• Independent, structured, and organized working style
• Fluent German language skills
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with various stakeholders
