Overview

The Payer & Access Cell Therapy leaders are responsible for formulating and executing account plans engaging both Regional and National payor customers and targeted hospitals / health systems. This person is also responsible for payor segmentation, medical policy development, reimbursement support, and support of field sales team members. Strong collaboration skills is a must as this role will require you to engage in several cross functional engagements with Medical Affairs, Legal, Field Sales, External Affairs and Marketing as required.

In Short

  • Develop and execute payer strategy for assigned regional and national payor engagement.
  • Deliver and maintain profitable access and appropriate reimbursement for products.
  • Accountable for partnerships with targeted hospitals to ensure patient access.
  • Frequent interactions with case management teams to resolve patient access issues.
  • Track key metrics and ensure accuracy of executive dashboards.
  • Present analysis of scientific data and clinical practice goals.
  • Utilize clinical expertise in delivering comprehensive product presentations.
  • Assist field representatives with reimbursement challenges.
  • Adhere to company core values and business ethics.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required.
  • 12 years related payor or hospital reimbursement account experience.
  • Proven relationships with Commercial Payor Medical Directors and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in payor policy development.
  • Problem solving skills and multi-tasking experience are critical.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, collaborative self-starter.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of regulations governing patient information protection.
  • Must be a true team player and work collaboratively.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
