Aerospace Auditor - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a traveling Auditor for our Business Assurance Aerospace team, who will be responsible for auditing client companies' quality systems to ensure compliance with established standards.

In Short

• Audit client management systems for compliance with established standards.
• Review quality system documentation and address areas of non-conformity.
• Write comprehensive audit reports and perform follow-up audits.
• Assist clients with questions relevant to the audit process.
• Travel to client sites, requiring 3 to 5 nights per week.
• Provide consultation and/or training on quality issues.
• Coordinate activities with assessment team members.
• Participate in audit meetings and processes.
• Manage multi-facility clientele programs.
• Act as Lead Auditor or team member.

Requirements

• 5 years of quality systems experience in an Aerospace professional capacity.
• Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred.
• Experience in procedural writing related to quality systems.
• Working knowledge of ISO-9000 or AS9100 standards.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
• Physical ability to perform assessment functions.
• IRCA or RABQS Assessor Certification is a plus.
• CQA, CQE Certification is a plus.
• Successful completion of Lead Auditor training is a plus.
