Overview

The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) applies cutting-edge technology to operating a reliable electricity system, managing competitive markets for wholesale electricity, and planning for the Empire State's energy future. The NYISO invites applications for a full-time intern on our Market Solutions Engineering team to focus on supporting the Day-Ahead and Real-Time markets.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a graduate program focused in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Understanding of Linux and Python desired.
• Familiarity with the concept of wholesale markets.
• At least one completed course on optimization and/or familiarity with concepts of linear programming.
