QA Engineer (Manual Testing Focus, Automation Experience a Plus) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong manual testing expertise to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of software testing principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.

In Short

• Plan, execute, and document functional, UI, regression, cross-browser, and cross-platform mobile testing.
• Create and maintain clear, reproducible test cases and bug reports.
• Log, track, and verify defects in Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and quality initiatives.
• Assist with automated testing using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium (optional).

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proven experience in manual functional, UI, regression, and mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Kanban workflows.
• Experience with Jira or similar bug-tracking systems.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.
• Preferred: Automation testing experience and knowledge of the home care domain.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level.
