Senior Business Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Operations Specialist to join its team in support of the FEMA Office of National Continuity Programs (ONCP) Business Management Division (BMD).

In Short

• Implement standard operating procedures for consolidation and reporting processes.
• Oversee the daily/weekly/monthly division consolidation process to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis of budget matrices accounts to ensure compliance and integrity.
• Review and facilitate the directorate financial statement analytic review packages and meetings.
• Work closely with the Financial Management Branch (FMB) team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the consolidation and reporting process within all financial systems.
• Utilize the FEMA PBIS, IFMIS, Microsoft Office and other available tools to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Promote continuous improvement to the close consolidation and reporting processes, aiming to achieve best practices.
• Identify opportunities for standardizing subsidiary accounting processes and implement them as required.
• Support the coordination of quarterly reviews and annual audits with our outside partners.
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial reports, including the Executive, Financial Management Branch (FMB) Packages.

Requirements

• 10+ years of total experience (Federal Government PPBE and consolidations).
• Experience with FEMA PBIS, IFMIS, Microsoft Office, highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
