The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) is seeking a motivated and experienced professional who is passionate about South Korea’s energy transition and eager to apply their expertise in energy economics and finance.

In Short

• Research and produce original reports on South Korea’s energy transition.
• Assess South Korea’s energy mix and transition pathways.
• Monitor industry trends and policies.
• Engage with stakeholders to drive influence and change.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Support dissemination of research through media engagement.
• Represent IEEFA at meetings and events.
• Provide media insights and respond to inquiries.
• Work independently in a remote setting.
• Maintain relationships with industry and government stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4-7 years’ experience in the energy sector.
• Degree in finance, economics, accounting, or engineering.
• Strong understanding of South Korea’s energy transition.
• Experience in quantitative analysis and financial modelling.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Korean.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
