IT Engineer - Corporate Engineering - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT engineer to join our Corporate Engineering team, partake in the continued development and implementation of corporate engineering initiatives and supporting the mission and growth of Instacart.

In Short

• Automate and enhance processes using scripting
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies
• Responsible for standard configuration and user administration
• Manage the administration and troubleshooting of SaaS applications
• Monitor system performance and implement solutions
• Perform regular system updates and patches
• Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations
• Partner with IT PMs and vendors on large-scale IT projects

Requirements

• 3-5 years of IT engineering or technical operations experience
• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications
• Deep understanding of standard protocols and security best practices
• Experience with Okta administration
• 3-5 years of scripting or tool building in a modern language
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Track record of delivering complex projects
• Understanding of information security principles
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
