Senior Animator - Remote

Overview

Insomniac Games is looking for a new Senior Animator responsible for creating sophisticated character performances for games and cinematic sequences.

In Short

• Contract role at Insomniac Games
• Create high-quality animations for game characters
• Lead animation projects from previsualization to final polish
• Collaborate with animators, designers, and programmers
• Maintain proficiency with animation tools and techniques
• Identify and implement improvements in animation pipeline

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Maya
• Experience with MotionBuilder and Adobe Premiere is a plus
• Knowledge of game engine state machine flow is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in game development or animation
• Ability to mentor and train others
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused
• Adaptable to new tools and techniques
