Data Architect / Senior Data Architect - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to help define and execute the vision for a modern, scalable, and governed data ecosystem.

In Short

• Lead data architecture strategy across domains and systems.
• Build and optimize key components of our data platform.
• Design dimensional, normalized, and canonical data models.
• Architect scalable data solutions using T-SQL and Microsoft Fabric.
• Define optimization strategies for query performance and storage efficiency.
• Partner with stakeholders for foundational data governance practices.
• Stay current on industry trends in cloud-native platforms.
• Serve as a trusted partner to data engineers and business teams.
• Facilitate design reviews and data modeling workshops.
• Evangelize modern architecture patterns within the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or senior-level data engineering.
• Expertise in designing data warehouses and semantic models.
• Hands-on skills with SQL, dbt, and/or Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native data platforms.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and governance frameworks.
• Proficiency with modeling or architecture tools.
• Experience building semantic layers and integrating with BI tools.
• Certifications in architecture or cloud platforms preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
