Initiate Government Solutions (IGS) is a fully remote IT services provider specializing in innovative Enterprise IT and Health Services solutions across the federal sector, focusing on data analytics, health informatics, and cloud migration.

In Short

• Lead the development and delivery of API platforms for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Work remotely daily with occasional onsite client meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality API products.
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clear criteria for user stories.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure product adoption and impact.

• Ensure adherence to security and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and mentor a small team of product managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in product management or IT project management.
• Strong understanding of APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with backlog management tools and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
