Overview

The Health IT Informatics Analyst I position at Initiate Government Solutions involves supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs through remote data analytics and informatics work.

In Short

• Conduct requirements gathering and analysis for stakeholders.
• Provide analytical support to the Community of Practice (CoP).
• Focus on interoperability for Veteran patient healthcare.
• Create detailed process documents for clinical informatics projects.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams.
• Manage risks and issues associated with project demands.
• Participate in meetings to communicate project status.
• Draft User Acceptance Test scripts and conduct reviews.
• Ensure compliance with industry processes and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with requirements elicitation and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R.
• Experience in agile project management and documentation.
• Strong skills in user requirements elicitation.
• Knowledge of Office 365 and SharePoint Online.
• Ability to maintain VA Public Trust clearance.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
