Construction Economist - Senior Project Manager - Remote

Overview

As part of the Alpes Centre Est region of INGEROP, you will be attached to the Clermont-Ferrand agency, where you will work as a Construction Economist and Senior Project Manager, responsible for the complete development of economic studies.

In Short

• Manage the estimation of construction costs for architectural works.
• Control and correct estimations from study offices.
• Prescribe technical solutions for architectural works.
• Conduct economic syntheses for projects.
• Direct and coordinate consultations with companies.
• Analyze and negotiate offers from companies.
• Occasionally follow up on the economic aspects of the site.
• Provide support and advice to the project owner.
• Conduct specific economic audit missions.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or at least a BTS in construction economics.
• 5 to 10 years of similar experience as a Construction Economist Project Manager.
• Autonomous with significant experience and proven economic analysis skills.
• Knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SSE) principles.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations and standards.
• Training in workplace safety (e.g., SST, HSE).
• Specific qualifications required (e.g., CACES, electrical certification).
• Medical fitness validated by an occupational physician.
• Ability to work in high-risk environments.
• Proficient in unit prices of major works, DTUs, and applicable construction rules and norms.
