Windows System Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Windows System Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Windows environments, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of the company's IT systems.

In Short

• Administer and supervise Windows servers (installation, configuration, updates, backups).
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and associated services.
• Ensure system security by applying patches and conducting regular audits.
• Diagnose and resolve level 2 and 3 incidents related to Windows environments.
• Participate in infrastructure project management (migration, virtualization, deployment of new technologies).
• Write and update technical documentation.
• Automate administration tasks using scripts (PowerShell).
• Collaborate with other IT teams (network, support, security) for coordinated actions.

Requirements

• Excellent mastery of Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022).
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, network services (DNS, DHCP), and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
• PowerShell scripting skills for task automation.
• Good understanding of security concepts (firewall, antivirus, security audits).
• Knowledge of monitoring and backup tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
