Human Resources Specialist (Temporary) - Remote

Overview

This is a temporary position for one year, covering maternity leave. The Human Resources Specialist provides comprehensive support to the HR team in executing key HR processes and initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle, contributing to a positive and engaging employee experience.

In Short

• Support HR Business Partners in implementing HR programs and policies.
• Generate HR reports and metrics for monitoring and decision-making.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits.
• Assist with employee relations activities and documentation.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
• Manage disability leaves and health and safety cases.
• Coordinate with payroll and vendors for data consistency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor legislation.
• Participate in the improvement of HR tools and processes.
• Administer employment contract changes and recruitment cycle.

Requirements

• University degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• 3 years of relevant HR experience.
• Good knowledge of MS Office; HRMS or ATS experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of labor and employment standards.
• Demonstrates confidentiality and professionalism.
