Chief Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee the accounting operations at indaHash. The Chief Accountant will ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported in a timely fashion and will play an active role in helping to develop and implement the company's overall accounting strategy.

In Short

• Close cooperation with CFO and IDH management regarding finance department set-up
• Decisiveness in scheduling timelines of changes implementation within the accounting department
• Responsibility for the financial accounting of a Group of legal entities in different countries (AR, AP, GL)
• Cooperation with local and foreign accounting offices
• Responsibility for full tax and statutory reporting (VAT, CIT, withholding tax, GUS, NBP reporting)
• Preparing periodic financial statements, analyses and reports, including consolidation of Financial Statements at the Group level
• Leading statutory audits and tax controls on local and Group level
• Providing complete and correct financial information and data for reporting, forecasting and controlling purposes in the organisation
• Liaising with key stakeholders and coordinating the resolution of accounting problems
• Managing accounting team

Requirements

• Polish at the C1 level is a must.
• At least five years of experience in the Accounting department and preferably at least two years in a Chief Accountant role
• Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and international accounting standards
• Strong management and organisation skills
• Good knowledge of accounting consolidation of FS
• English at C1 level
• Good MS Office skills and robust capabilities in MS Excel
• Proactive approach, accuracy, strong organisational skills
• Former experience with multinational companies and accountancy regulations would be welcomed
