Chief Accountant - Remote

As we continue our global expansion, we are seeking a Chief Accountant to lead our accounting function, drive strategic decision-making, and support our continued success across North American markets.

In Short

• Manage the full-cycle accounting process.
• Oversee month-end close and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Maintain and prepare financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Lead internal control processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage cash flow and working capital.
• Oversee corporate income tax and sales tax compliance.
• Provide accounting support for M&A transactions.
• Drive automation in financial reporting and accounting processes.
• Continuously evaluate and refine accounting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Master’s degree and/or CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
• Experience in a global accounting environment.
• Solid grasp of revenue recognition principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems.
• Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to financial controls.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Fluent in English (upper-intermediate level or above).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
