Overview

The Sr. Business Analyst, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is an individual contributor role that acts as a critical link between operational partners and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of needs and translating them into relevant reporting, analytics, and system requirements.

In Short

  • Partner with RCM leaders, Finance, Product, and Data teams.
  • Document and maintain business rules and reporting standards.
  • Analyze workflows and data trends for improvement opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for performance monitoring.
  • Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Support change control projects and assess business impacts.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality.
  • Prepare executive reporting packages with insights.
  • Be a subject matter expert in revenue cycle metrics.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in revenue cycle management or business analysis.
  • Proven experience in managing requirements for analytics projects.
  • Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle workflows.
  • Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Experience translating complex data for non-technical partners.
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with technical and business teams.
  • Experience with EHR/billing systems is appreciated.
