Facilities Engineer – Junior - Remote

Overview

The Facilities Engineer – Junior will support the operation and maintenance of the USGS magnetic observatory network, assisting in design, planning, and execution of new observatories.

• Review facilities documents for accuracy.
• Act as a point of contact in the absence of the facility manager.
• Document project tasks and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of building systems including HVAC and plumbing.
• Familiarity with design codes and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Ability to perform methodical tasks.
