Endpoint IC Field Applications Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Work closely with the Impinj EMEAI team to promote Impinj EPIC products.
• Provide technical support for industrializing new products based on RAIN RFID UHF tag ICs.
• Act as the product technical domain specialist for EMEAI customers.
• Represent customer requirements to product management and engineering teams.
• Enable rapid, real-time ecosystem support for high-quality industrialization.
• Build technology demonstrations or proof of concepts for RAIN RFID ICs.
• Monitor quality and manufacturing for quarterly reviews with partners.
• Develop key technical contacts within the label ecosystem.
• Design custom antennas for specific label attach use-cases.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in applications engineering of RF products.
• Understanding of high volume manufacturing processes in RF product manufacturing.
• Knowledge of RF principles, link budgets, and antenna design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 25-50%, including internationally.
