Overview

The Helpdesk Manager – Travel System Reservations oversees the operational support of commercial travel reservations within the Defense Travel System (DTS) for the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO). This role involves leading and supporting a team of analysts to ensure compliance with federal travel regulations.

In Short

  • Manage daily operations of the reservation support helpdesk.
  • Ensure compliance with established processes and performance standards.
  • Lead, train, and support analysts in providing assistance for DTS reservations.
  • Maintain knowledge of DTS Reservation Module and GDS systems.
  • Support the development of training materials and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor ticket resolution and escalation processes.
  • Engage with clients and manage interactions.
  • Participate in proposal development and pricing strategies.
  • Focus on key client issues and operational transformation.
  • Collaborate with decision makers at key clients.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience with DTS Reservation Module.
  • 3 years of experience with Sabre and Worldspan GDS.
  • Knowledge of GSA City Pair Program and Fly America Act.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (experience may substitute).
  • Preferred experience in managing a helpdesk in a federal or DoD environment.
