Pediatric Dietitian (Hybrid) - Remote

Overview

The Pediatric Dietitian will assess the nutritional needs of pediatric patients with chronic medical and behavioral health conditions, develop and implement nutritional care plans, and communicate effectively with families.

• Provide age-appropriate education to support nutritional care plans.
• Analyze growth trends to prevent malnutrition and identify excessive weight gain.
• Design personalized nutrition care plans that accommodate food preferences and allergies.
• Counsel caregivers on age and disease-specific diets and formulas.
• Monitor nutrition care plans using electronic health records.
• Document nutrition care plans effectively within the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Serve as a nutrition resource regarding specialized formulas and diet information.
• Maintain expertise in pediatric nutrition and professional credentials.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a pediatric dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Certified Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Dietician (LD) from Texas.
• Experience working with a pediatric population.
• Virtual care experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
