General Accountant - Wherescape & Yellowfin - Remote

Overview

A position for a General Accountant with experience working for a US owned technology firm. An understanding of the overall accounting and reporting functions is required which includes supporting the business with involvement in Sales Order Processing, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Payroll, Taxes and local Portugues GAAP. The successful candidate will be highly dependable, attentive to detail, proactive, organized and able to work gracefully under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.

In Short

• Processing and supporting operations and business.
• Prepare and review internal and external local service provider accounting related entries.
• Follow accounting processes and policies.
• Support accounts payable activities.
• Support accounts receivables activities.
• Co-ordinate and perform banking functions.
• Regularly review, maintain and provide support for detailed reconciliations.
• Research and provide detailed analyses of all transactions.
• Prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Prepare and understand bridging differences between local GAAP and US GAAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in accounting or related field.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Stellar communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports.
• Experience with Accounting Software.
• Multi-lingual optional – Good English mandatory.
