Community Relations Manager - Remote

Overview

IdeaTek is seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Relations Manager to build and strengthen relationships between our organization and the communities we serve.

In Short

• Develop and implement comprehensive community engagement strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at community events and initiatives.
• Research and identify community needs and opportunities for collaboration.
• Develop and distribute press releases and communication materials.
• Partner with Customer Acquisition Project Manager for community events.
• Identify and develop partnerships with community organizations.
• Manage the budget for community relations activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in community relations or public relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Event planning and management skills.
• Proficiency in social media management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
