Senior UX Writer/Content Strategist - Remote

Overview

We seek a UX Content Strategist with expertise in UX writing to support agile product teams developing enterprise applications for our clients in the federal healthcare IT industry.

In Short

• Join a team of human-centered designers, researchers, and content professionals.
• Support the vision and strategy established by project leadership.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Guide decisions about information architecture and content design.
• Author copy for UI designs and other documentation.
• Create deliverables with an iterative, audience-centered approach.
• Manage draft, approval, and publishing processes.
• Communicate content strategy and development approach clearly.
• Work on projects for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
• Participate in an Agile process to learn quickly and iterate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in UX writing or content strategy.
• Portfolio of work products demonstrating your approach.
• Must reside in the US and be authorized to work in the US.
• Eligible for Federal public trust clearance.
• Preferred degree in English, Technical Communication, or Journalism.
• Experience with Human-Centered Design principles.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance preferred.
• Strong skills with content authoring tools.
• Able to work successfully with a diverse, remote team.
