Senior Databricks Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

ICF International is seeking an experienced and cleared Senior Databricks Engineer with cyber security expertise to support the development of new cyber analytic capabilities aimed at protecting U.S. networks and information systems.

In Short

• Support a large federal cyber security analytic program.
• Contribute to understanding cyber-attacks and vulnerabilities.
• Work with customers and researchers to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.
• Design and optimize large-scale distributed computation platforms.
• Create visual analytics and dashboards for automated analytic capabilities.
• Perform data cleaning, enrichment, and analysis.
• Support CI/CD pipeline for visual analytics deployment.
• Provide post-deployment support for continuous analysis.
• Active high-level security clearance is required.
• Work primarily in a telework environment with occasional client meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Master’s degree with 10+ years in IT or Cyber.
• Hands-on experience with the Databricks Intelligence Platform.
• Strong understanding of the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework.
• Experience in data modeling and analytics.
• Knowledge of cyber threats and data analysis methods.
• Fluency in programming languages like Python and SQL.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools.
• CompTIA Security+ certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.
• Practical experience with Linux/Unix and Windows security.
