Head Start Change in Scope (CIS) Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Senior Project Analyst serves as a Change in Scope (CIS) Specialist and is a subject matter expert for the Office of Head Start (OHS), responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and approving Change in Scope applications submitted by Head Start and Early Head Start grant recipients.

• Review and analyze Change in Scope applications from Head Start and Early Head Start recipients.

• Ensure compliance with the Head Start Act and relevant performance standards.
• Serve as a trusted resource for OHS leadership and staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience with Head Start or Early Head Start grants.
• 1+ years of experience in Change in Scope concepts.
• US government issued security clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Experience in developing technical assistance tools.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools like HSES or Smartsheet.
• Experience in training diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to develop strategic content for senior leaders.
