Associate, Research and Education - Remote

Overview

iCapital is looking for an Associate to join its growing Research and Education team. This role will focus on supporting the private markets groups across private equity, private credit, and real estate and real assets. This individual will participate in due diligence efforts, market mapping, and other support functions.

In Short

• Support the private markets group through a variety of tasks.
• Help maintain a pipeline of investment ideas that are in market or coming to market over a 12-month period.
• Participate in investment and operational due diligence on private capital managers.
• Contribute to the preparation of clear and comprehensive due diligence reports.
• Source new managers and perform initial screening.
• Monitor and maintain coverage of select managers and funds.
• Provide support in preparing marketing and education materials.
• Support all aspects of iCapital’s fund launch process.
• Assist in developing a marketing plan for new product launches.
• Assist with the planning and execution of roadshows and conferences.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of total experience in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a similar field.
• Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
• Strong written communication skills and eager to learn.
• Able to work independently.
• Progressing or interest in pursuing a CFA is a plus.
