DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the operation and deployment of our cloud software and services hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and to strategically establish further DevOps (GitOps) techniques.

In Short

• Collaboration with the development team to implement efficient and reliable processes.
• Active participation in DevOps activities, including automated deployment, configuration management, and maintenance/monitoring for our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Assisting in the administration and monitoring of our cloud software application and other cloud services to ensure availability and security.
• Communication with cloud service providers.

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in computer science or comparable qualification or work experience.
• Good programming skills.
• Solid experience with Linux systems.
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Basic experience working with at least one hyperscaler, ideally AWS.
• Good knowledge of container technologies like Docker.
• Experience with technologies to be used at ibelsa such as Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, Pulumi, SaltStack, or Argo Project and the GitOps approach is an advantage.
• Security certifications and knowledge are a plus.
• German language skills C1.
• English language skills B1.
